Krispa Fish Snack is the creation of Alda Björk Ólafsdóttir who moved from her native Iceland to the UK in 1989 where she lived for over three decades. Having grown up in Iceland, Alda was brought up eating the healthy traditional Icelandic snack, dried fish.

Dried fish is not something that is available in the UK so she decided to start developing her own brand of dried fish, and not in the old traditional way, but a brand new, never been done before method. 

This method made it possible to make super thin, crispy fish flakes in pretty much any flavour.
